Information
Tour nine historic homes in the Athenaeum Historic District, two on West 7th Street, and the lovely Columbia Academy as part of the APTA Home Tour. Only three of these houses have been open to the public before, so this is an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of history! Located on West 7th Street are the Pressnell-Quillen home and Shadowlawn (circa 1851) which served as the location for the wedding of actors Grace Smith and Bruce Cabot (who played James Driscoll in the original “King Kong”).
